Overview
Gangla pass trek In altitude a rock and desert shrubs set against a background of a drop of snow capped peaks, crossing Ganjala step has a high mountain, sometimes requires the use of ice ax and crampons. In spring is an ideal place to observe birds and flowers of Nepal. The earth crosses varied landscapes are rice terraces, giant rhododendron and fir forests. Our route takes us back beyond the sacred lakes of Gosainkunda, an important place of pilgrimage, and by a causeway that leads almost to the edge of Kathmandu itself. According to legend, a lama following a runaway yak discovered the valley, hence the name-Lang (Tibetan name for YAK), Tang (more currently "Dhang" means to follow). Just after the monsoons, this tour offers great views of the great peak of Langtang Lirung (7246m) which dominates the upper valley and straddles the Tibetan border.

Day 1: Meet at Kathmandu Airport, transfer to hotel
